CHÂTEAU LA ROSE BELAIR
History and Geography
This domain of 40 hectares, purchased by the Bonfils family in 2011, is situated at Mouliets-et-Villemartin, near Saint-Emilion and Castillon-la-Bataille in the Gironde. The property, surrounded by vines, is an attractive white stone building which has recently been renovated, and includes private living quarters.
The Vineyard and its Terroir
The vineyard enjoys a particularly favourable dominant exposition on a terroir of rich geological diversity, with soils of limestone clay, marl, gravel and flint. The grape varieties are principally Merlot, which covers practically two thirds of the vineyard, plus Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
