In spring 2021, we introduced you to Le Rosé – Vaugelas and Lycia - Capitoul. Now it’s time for us to present Ôde de Capitoul, the ultimate seaside rosé.
With its sophisticated, elegant bottle complete with shimmering reflections and Vinolok glass closure, its pale pink hue will make the perfect centrepiece for your dinner table, from the aperitif through to dessert, depending on how you like yours!
Ôde by Capitoul delivers complex aromatics of red fruits, citrus, spice scents and floral and mineral notes on the nose, flowing into a rich palate with the kind of freshness on the finish that is perfectly suited to fine weather. Its lightness stems mostly from the fact that the grapes are picked during the coolest hours of the night.

The time has finally come for venues to re-open and we are delighted! Since June 1, the cellar door shop and gallery at Château l’Esparrou welcomes you all week from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm (closed on Sunday afternoons and Monday afternoons). In July and August, opening times will be extended until 8:30 pm.
Make a note in your diary – every Tuesday from 7 pm onwards, we will be hosting a weekly event called L’Apéro des Artistes, including the l’Esparrou wine bar, live music and arts performances… To eat, there are a number of delicious options – Spanish bodega, oyster bar and a kebab and sushi bar, all of which is orchestrated by our partners Casa Brava and Ola Bellota from the Vauban indoor market in Perpignan.
How about a visit to the Château l’Esparrou gallery where you can discover the unique world of three local resident artists: Jahlu6ne, Malou and Prooz. It’s certainly something to feast your eyes on!
