Vignobles Bonfils wines win medals at Lyon competition

After the Mundus Vini competition, which awarded the ultimate accolade to the V label by Château Vaugelas, we were delighted to win more medals at the Lyon competition: 7 gold medals and 9 silver, an impressive shower of accolades.

Award-winning labels include wines by Domaine de Cibadiès. The Chardonnay won a silver medal whilst the Vermentino came away with a gold, an outstanding achievement for this Pays d’Oc wine we created this year.

Both in France and abroad, Domaine de Cibadiès remains a benchmark for white Languedoc wines.

Eco-friendly closures to protect our environment

When we get the chance to protect biodiversity and reduce our carbon footprint, we don’t think twice about doing what it takes. This includes our partnership with Portocork France

Did you know that CO² emissions can be offset through cork? Cork is a natural material with the ability to capture carbon dioxide. In 2020, by using Portocork cork closures, we captured 963.3 tonnes of CO².

Explore the vineyards of our wine tourism estates in 2021

What could be more pleasurable than a walk through our sunny vineyards to immerse yourself in the world of wine? Why not come to 4 of our 17 estates this summer? Château Capitoul, Château l’Esparrou, Château Les Carrasses, Château St-Pierre de Serjac offer trails in a range of levels, suitable for both children and adults. Whether you are familiar with our wine world, or not so familiar, everyone is welcome.

You will discover the secrets of the estate, its history and vineyard sites and can try your hand at being a cellar master assistant!

To make the experience a memorable one, we have partnered with the Explorama app. This free digital tool allows you to discover the biodiversity and heritage of the surrounding area.

Once you have downloaded the free app on your smartphone, we invite you to stop by the estate’s cellar door facilities to activate the trail (available for €5). All you have to do then is let yourself be guided around. There is even an option for mobile black spots to ensure your tour is stress-free!

At the end of the trail, depending on the results, winners are rewarded with a surprise gift kit for children and a tasting glass with a discount on their purchases at the winery for adults.
