The hill is famous for its fierce lightning storms. As a buffer against their intensity, Pierre Paul Riquet himself invented and designed the weirs at Capestang during building work on the Canal du Midi. Pegasus, the winged horse and master of storms in mythology, has been the emblem and protector of our estate since time immemorial.
Grown between the Mediterranean and the mountains, IGP Pays d’Oc varietal wines cover an extensive sun-kissed area from the Camargue to the Vermillion Coast, in the heart of France’s largest wine region which is also renowned for its appellation wines.
